Solar Exit Advocate is a service of Modern Financial, LLC. We help homeowners who believe they were misled in a solar sale by reviewing their situation and assisting with solar-contract cancellation, working with our vetted service partners where appropriate. 2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Contact details: first and last name, email address, and phone number.
• Survey responses: answers about your solar situation — whether you have a system to cancel, lease vs. finance, how the sale originated, whether you were misled, your installer/company name, your contract balance range, and your monthly payment range.
• Communications: information you give us when you contact us or speak with a specialist.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.
• Cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (see Section 6), including Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity (which may record session activity such as mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling; form-field contents are masked).
• Advertising identifiers such as click IDs (e.g., fbclid) and related cookies (_fbp, _fbc) used for attribution and advertising.
• A TrustedForm certificate (by ActiveProspect) documenting your interaction with our form and consent.

4. Calls, Texts & Consent (TCPA)

When you submit your information, you agree to be contacted as described in our Terms of Service and the consent disclosure shown on the form, which may include automated marketing and informational calls, texts, and emails from Modern Financial, Solar Exit Advocate, and their affiliates and partners at the number and email you provide, including via autodialer, prerecorded/artificial voice, and AI-assisted technology. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts by replying STOP and request no further calls at any time. 5. How We Share Your Information

We may disclose personal information to:

• Service providers / processors that perform functions on our behalf (e.g., hosting, CRM, analytics, communications, AI processing, and lead-certification vendors).
• Marketing and advertising partners, including Meta Platforms, for advertising, measurement, and audience creation (this may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law — see Section 7).
• Service partners and vendors that help us provide the solar-contract cancellation services you request, such as providers that perform contract review or cancellation work on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of your information to those services.
• Legal and safety recipients where required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and session-analytics tools to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising. These include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. You can control cookies through your browser settings and may opt out of certain advertising via the DAA and NAI tools. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including consent and lead-certification records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

The Site and Services are intended for adults 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
